Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) and the National School of Public Policy of the Government of Pakistan (NSPP)

- A proposal has been made to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding between the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) which holds the responsibility of the capacity building of the officers in the public sector in Sri Lanka and the National School of Public Policy of the Government of Pakistan. The MoU will cover the areas such as conducting of integrated training programmes, exchange of expertise, students and academic activities, management consultancy activities and integrated research activities. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Ranjith Madduma Bandara, the Minister of Public Administration and Management, to sign the proposed Memorandum of Understanding, with the objective of making the public service more efficient through the capacity building of the public sector, was approved by the Cabinet.
