Procurement of Hydrophobic Intra Ocular Lenses used for Eye Surgeries

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to award the contract for the purchase of 18,600 Hydrophobic Intra Ocular Lenses implanted into the eye during cataract surgery, to M/s Vision 2000 (Pvt.) Ltd., for a sum of Rs.322.84 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
