Implementation of the Paddy Purchasing Programme of the Government (PPPG) in 2017/2018 Maha Season

- The proposal made by Hon. P. Harison, the Minister of Rural Economy, to obtain Rs. 500 million from the General Treasury, to implement the Paddy Purchasing Programme of the Government, through the Paddy Marketing Board in the districts where paddy harvest has been received in excess of consumption requirements of the 2017/2018 Maha Season, was approved by the Cabinet.
