Procurement of Catering Services for Passenger Lounges of the Airport

- The Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited operates four (04) Passenger Lounges at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake and one (01) Passenger Lounge at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) for the passengers of the Business Class, First Class and Special Categories. It is essential to provide high quality catering services to the local as well as the foreign air passengers receiving the services of these Lounges. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Nimal Siripala de Silva, the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, to award the contract to M/s Sri Lankan Catering Limited affiliated to the Srilankan Airlines, which has the potential for the purpose, for a forthcoming period of 03 years, was approved by the Cabinet.
