Purchasing of Aerial Bundled Conductor required for the Distribution Region 2 of the Ceylon Electricity Board

- The maintenance activities and the purchase of equipment required to supply new electricity connections of the Ceylon Electricity Board are being conducted separately according to each distribution region. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, to award the contract for the supply and distribution of Aerial Bundled Conductors (ABC) 3x70+54.6+16 sqmm - 1500km to M/s Sierra Cables PLC, for a sum of Rs.872.96 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
