Granting of sponsorship for research purposes at the Museum of the University of Peradeniya

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Sarath Amunugama, the Minister of Special Assignments, to grant Rs.10 million from the funds already allocated to the Ministry for the year 2018 to carry out research and exploration activities of the Museum project implemented with the objective of collecting and preserving the art pieces and creativework belonging to the history of the University of Peradeniya to make enable the future generation, to make use of them to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the University of Peradeniya, was approved by the Cabinet.
