Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Agricultural Cooperation between Sri Lanka and Turkey

- The proposal made by Hon. Duminda Dissanayake, the Minister of Agriculture, to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Agricultural Cooperation, for the exchange of knowledge, technology and techniques relating to agricultural activities between Sri Lanka and Turkey, was approved by the Cabinet. The Cabinet also took note of the fact that it has been planned to enter into a special Agreement pertaining to the increase of the quantity of tea to be exported to the Republic of Turkey from Sri Lanka.
