Procurement of Uniforms and other Clothing Material for the Sri Lanka Police and the Special Task Force

- The uniforms required for the Sri Lanka Police and the Special Task Force are purchased from the local textile manufacturers registered under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce by calling for quotations. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Sagala Ratnayake, the Minister of Law & Order and Southern Development, to purchase the uniforms required for the Sri Lanka Police and the Special Task Force from the local textile manufacturers recommended by the Local Textile Allocation Committee, for a sum of Rs.257.3 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
