Awarding the contract for the construction of the new Vocational Training Centre at Horana

- Under the 'Skills Sector Development Programme' implemented with the objective of expanding the Network of the Vocational Training Centres in the country, approval of the Cabinet has been granted to construct the new Vocational Training Centre at Horana. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Chandima Weerakkody, the Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training, to award the contract for the construction of the Vocational Training Centre, to M/s Asiri Constructions, for a sum of Rs.141 million, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
