Completion of Work at the Kilinochchi Sports Complex

- The construction work of the Kilinochchi Sports Complex constructed with the objective of providing for the promotion of the sporting skills of the sportsmen and sportswomen of the Northern Province has presently been abandoned half way. Therefore, the proposal made by Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara, the Minister of Sports, to get the balance construction work of the Sports Complex completed by the Sri Lanka Army at an estimated cost of Rs.141.9 million with a view to constructing it expeditiously and vesting it with the people, was approved by the Cabinet.
