Completion of the balance work of the low income housing project at Kalinga Mawatha in Colombo 05

- Bids have been called for, to select a suitable contractor for completing the balance work of the low income housing project being constructed at Kalinga Mawatha in Colombo 05, comprising of 528 housing units and securing funds necessary for the same. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to award the contract to M/s Maga Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd., for a sum of Rs.1,898.7 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
