Securing Loan Facilities to obtain the Technical Assistance for the Secondary Town Sustainable Development Project (STSDP)

- The Secondary Town Sustainable Development Project has been designed under the sponsorship of the financial assistance of the Asian Development Bank, to carry out capacity building, rehabilitation and infrastructure development of 25 towns selected to be developed as economic hubs that contribute to the entire development of the country. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Faiszer Musthapha, the Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government, for the procurement of consultancy services to design the sub projects, obtain the necessary technical assistance, to identify initial procurement and formal administrative systmes under the said project and to obtain a loan facility of US$ 05 million from the Asian Development Bank for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
