The Contract for elevating the Minipe Anicut including the Water Control and Measurement Facilities for the Left Bank and the Right Bank Canals under the Mahaweli Water Security Investment Programme

- The proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Mahaweli Development and Environment, to award the contract for elevating the Minipe Anicut including the water control and measurement facilities for the left bank and the right bank canals constructed under the Mahaweli Water Security Investment Programme, to China Gezhouba Group Company Ltd., for a sum of Rs.1,576.9 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
