Construction of a Building for the Sri Lanka Institute of Textile and Apparels

- Providing of training, testing, technological and management consultancy services required for the apparel industry is vested with the Sri Lanka Institute of Textile and Apparel. Although, it was initially planned to construct a 04 storey building, considering its proposed activities and expansion for the future, it has been subsequently decided to make it a 6 storey building. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, to construct the said building with 6 storeys, was approved by the Cabinet.
