Supply of uniform and other clothing materials for the Tri-Forces, Department of Civil Security and the National Cadet Corps

- The uniforms and other clothing materials required for the Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Navy, Sri Lanka Air Force, Department of Civil Security and the National Cadet Corps are supplied by calling quotations from the Local Textile Manufacturers. As such, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to purchase the uniforms and clothing material required for the year 2017, from the local textile manufacturing institutions recommended by the Domestic Textile Allocation Committee, at the cost of Rs.1,887.8 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
