The Establishment of a Vocational Training Centre for the Tourism Industry in the Nilaveli area of Trincomalee

- The National Youth Services Council has planned to commence a training centre in the Nilaveli area of Trincomalee in the year 2018 for training the youth for job opportunities in the tourism industry.

Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs, to get 200 acres of land situated in the Nilaveli area vested with the Tourism Development Authority to be vested with the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs for the establishment of the proposed training centre, was approved by the Cabinet.
