Construction of the Fair and the Commercial Building at the Kurusa Junction at Alubomulla in Bandaragama

- It has been proposed to construct a Fair, a Commercial Complex and a Multi-purpose building in the land belonging to the Bandaragama Multi Purpose Cooperative Society, located in close proximity to the Kurusa Junction at Alubomulla in Bandaragama along the Panadura - Horana main road. It is expected to construct 120 trade stalls under this project. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to implement this project at an estimated cost of Rs.200 million under the 'Sukithapurawara' Township Development Programme and to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the said Cooperative Society for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
