Installation of the Fuel Hydrant System and Upgrading of the Aviation Refueling Terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA)

- The proposal made by Hon. Arjuna Ranatunga, the Minister of Petroleum Resources Development, to award the contract for the installation of the Fuel Hydrant System for the proposed new Apron - E implemented concurrent to the development activities of Phase II of the BIA and upgrading of the Aviation Refueling Terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport to the Joint Venture of M/s WEC Engineers and Constructors Pte. Ltd., Singapore, M/s Pte. Wijaya Karya and M/s China National Chemical Engineering, for a sum of US$ 51.5 million, excluding tax and to secure the financial facilities necessary, was approved by the Cabinet.
