Selection of a Consultancy Company to develop Strategies for the Digital Economy of Sri Lanka

- The Government has accorded priority for the development of the digital economy of Sri Lanka. The proposal made by Hon. Harin Fernando, the Minister of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure, to award the contract for the Consultancy Services for securing the required financial sources to M/s McKinsey & Company for a sum of US$ 1.425 million, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Negotiation Committee (CANC), was approved by the Cabinet.
