Construction of a New Two Storey Building for the Divisional Secretariat of Mahiyanganaya

- The Cabinet has granted approval previously to construct a new two storey building for the Divisional Secretariat of Mahiyanganaya. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Vajira Abeywardena, the Minister of Home Affairs, to award the contract for the construction of the building to M/s Finite Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd., for a sum of Rs.140.96 million, excluding taxes, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
