Amending legislation relating to Bribery and Corruption

- The proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, to amend the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption Act and the Acts incidental thereto, in order to make the laws applicable for eradicating bribery and corruption in Sri Lanka to meet the contemporary legal requirements and to overcome the issues which have surfaced due to the inconsistencies found in the existing laws when implementing same, was approved by the Cabinet.
