Signing of an Agreement for the Transfer of sentenced persons between Sri Lanka and Thailand

- The proposal made by Hon. (Mrs.) Thalatha Atukorala, the Minister of Justice, to enter into an Agreement between Sri Lanka and Thailand to transfer a citizen of Thailand who has been convicted by a Court of Law in Sri Lanka and imprisoned and a citizen of Sri Lanka who has been convicted by a Court of Law in Thailand and imprisoned subject to punishment, between the two countries to enable them to spend the rest of their period of punishment in their own countries and to ratify the same, was approved by the Cabinet.
