The adoption of a National Action Plan to combat Corruption in Sri Lanka

- The proposal made by Hon. (Mrs.) Thalatha Atukorala, the Minister of Justice, to prepare an Action Plan to combat corruption in Sri Lanka with the collaboration of the relevant agencies to strengthen the anti-bribery and corruption agencies, to co-coordinate productively the entire institutional structure to promote national integration, to enhance the co‑operation of the public and private sector with regard to the prevention of fraud, bribery and corruption and raise public understanding of the adverse effects of bribery and corruption on Sri Lankan society, was approved by the Cabinet.
