State Vesak Festival of the year 2018 - The proposal made by Hon. Gamini Jayawickrema Perera, the Minister of Buddhasasana, to conduct the State Vesak Festival of the year 2018 of 2562nd year of Buddhist Era, centralizing the historic Bingiriya Raja Maha Viharaya in the Kurunegala District and to declare the 26th April to 02nd May of 2018 as the 'Vesak Week', was approved by the Cabinet. |
