Awarding of contracts for buildings to be constructed at Universities of Colombo and Ruhuna

- The proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to award the contract of establishment of the faculty of Technology at the University of Colombo for a sum of Rs 1,801 million to M/s International Construction Consortium (Pvt.) Ltd., and the contract of constructing of a twelve storey building with an examination centre, Clinical excellence center, health education center and a family health centre at the Medical Faculty of the University of Ruhuna for a sum of Rs. 850 million, to M/s Link Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd., as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
