Implementation of 18 additional Urban Development Projects in the year 2017

- The Cabinet has already granted approval for 39 projects exceeding the value of Rs.20 million which have been planned to be carried out by the Urban Development Authority (UDA) utilizing the provisions allocated by the General Treasury to the Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development under Budget 2017. 18 other projects have been identified to be implemented by the UDA in the year 2017 itself by utilizing the balance provisions available and the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to implement those projects, was approved by the Cabinet.
