Project of the Hambantota LPG Filling Plant of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd.

- The Litro Gas Lanka Ltd. has planned to install a LPG Cylinder Filling Plant facility at the Gas Stores Terminal with the objective of granting cost benefits to the customers in the Districts of Hambantota, Ampara, Moneragala, Batticaloa, Badulla, Matara and Ratnapura. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Kabir Hashim, the Minister of Public Enterprise Development, to award the contract for the construction of the plant to M/s. Dockyard General Engineering Services (Pvt) Ltd., the lowest substantially responsive bidder for a sum of Rs.647.2 million as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
