Allocation of a block of land to the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) to establish the Ratnapura Study Centre

- The Ratnapura Study Centre of the Open University of Sri Lanka has been proposed to be improved under the project 'One Regional Centre of the Open University for each Province'. The proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to transfer a block of land of 01Acre 02Roods in extent, belonging to the Urban Development Authority, situated in the Ratnapura New Town, to the Open University of Sri Lanka as a free grant for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
