Supply and Delivery of New Tyre Kits to the Sri Lanka Transport Board

- Bids have been called for, under open competitive bidding to select a suitable institution for the supply and delivery of New Tyre Kits to the buses of the Sri Lanka Transport Board and in response 02 bidders have submitted their bids. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Nimal Siripala de Silva, the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, to award the contract to M/s. Ceat Kelani International Tyres (Pvt) Ltd., for the supply of 33,672 tyre kits of different varieties, for a sum of Rs.1,115 million, as per the recommendation of the Technical Evaluation Committee appointed to evaluate the prices and the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
