70th Independence Day Celebrations

- The proposal made by Hon. Vajira Abeywardena, the Minister of Home Affairs, to appoint a Ministerial Sub Committee under the Chairmanship of Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister, to organize and monitor the necessary activities of the 70th Independence Day Celebrations falling on the 04th of February 2018, and the cultural event to coincide with the celebrations, was approved by the Cabinet.
