Purchasing of Essential Drugs for the treatment of Kidney Patients

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to award the tender for the purchase of 80,000 Bottles of Human Albumin Solution BP/PH Eur 20% in 50ml Bottle, an essential drug used for the treatment of kidney patients for a sum of US$ 2.19 million, in accordance with the recommendations of the Procurement Appeal Board and the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
