Purchasing of Drugs used for the treatment of blood volume replacement of patients

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to award the tender for the purchase of 8,500,000 Bottles of 500ml Sodium Chloride Intravenous Infusion BP 0.9% w/v or Sodium Chloride Injection USP, 0.9% w/v, used for blood volume replacement of patients for a sum of US$ 2.54 million, in accordance with the recommendations of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
