Purchase of Vaccine required for Children's Immunization Programme

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to award the tender for the purchase of 80,000 Vials of Adsorbed Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Hepatitis B and Haemophilus Influenza Type B Conjugate Liquid Vaccine (Pentavalent), 10 Dose Vial at a cost of US$ 568,800, for the continuation of the Children's Immunization Programme, uninterruptedly as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
