Awarding of contracts for buildings to be constructed at the University of Jaffna

- The proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to award the contract for the construction of a new building for the Engineering Technology and Bio Systems Technology Division of the University of Jaffna and the contract for the construction of an eight (08) storeyed clinical building for the Faculty of Medicine of the same University, at a cost of Rs.424.43 million and Rs.564.67 million respectively, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
