Procurement of equipment required for the Combat Battalion participating in Peace Keeping Operations in Mali

- Limited International Competitive bids have been called to procure the equipment required for the Combat Battalion to engage in peace keeping duties in Mali on behalf of Sri Lanka. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to purchase relevant equipment from the three (03) substantially responsive institutions, as recommended by the Technical Evaluation Committee and the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
