Development of Infrastructure facilities of the alternative lands given in respect of the lands acquired for the construction activities of Hambantota Port - Stage II

- The residents whose lands have been acquired for the construction activities of the Stage II of the Hambantota Port have been granted alternative lands. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Samarasinghe, the Minister of Ports and Shipping to develop the infrastructure facilities such as roads, electricity and water in those areas expeditiously, was approved by the Cabinet.
