Construction of the Academic and Administrative Building of the Nurses Training School, Kalutara

- The has Government has decided to increase the intake of trainees for training in nursing in order to provide a qualitative health service. As such, it has been planned to construct a new academic and an administrative building for the Nurses Training School, Kalutara which functions presently within the National Institute of Health Sciences, amidst great difficulties. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to award the contract for a sum of Rs.714.2 million (with tax), was approved by the Cabinet.
