Providing of hostel facilities for the Staff of the Defence Services Command and Staff College

- Annually, more than 130 local and foreign officers complete the training given by the Defence Services Command and Staff College established to train the staff officers of the Three Armed Forces and the Public Service to bear the responsibilities of high positions, direct operations and perform the duties entrusted to them efficiently. Therefore, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to construct a three storey building and a four storey building to provide hostel facilities for the Senior Non‑Commissioned Officers of the Three Armed Forces and for the Officers of other ranks, was approved by the Cabinet.
