Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on Economic Cooperation and Investment Cooperation

- The proposal made by Hon. Malik Samarawickrema, the Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade, to sign the following two MoU during the forthcoming State Visit of H.E. the President to Bangladesh, with a view to deepening and diversifying cooperation in trade and Investment between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh was approved by the Cabinet:

* MoU on Economic Cooperation between the two countries;

* MoU on Investment Cooperation between the Investment Development Authority of Bangladesh and the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka.
