Establishment of the National Agency for Public-Private Partnership

- The proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance and Mass Media, for the establishment of the National Agency for public-private partnership as an independent institution with adequate legal, administrative and financial powers, instead of the public-private partnership division presently functioning in the Ministry of Finance and Mass Media to select projects based on the public-private partnership collaboration, their implementation and to provide guidance to the Ministries and other Government Institutions in respect of such projects, was approved by the Cabinet.
