Expert Panel on Impact Management of Natural Disasters

- The proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister, for setting up of an Expert Panel on Impact Management comprising of the representatives of the related institutions, to study the causes of natural disasters such as floods and landslides and to prevent and mitigate the harmful effects caused by them and to recommend short term and long term remedial measures that could be adopted, was approved by the Cabinet.
