Approval of a Service Minute Unique to the Postal Department

- Although, the Postal Department has got 9 Schemes of Recruitments approved for its Staff in accordance with the provisions of the Public Administration Circular No.06/2006, practical difficulties have arisen in the implementation of such Schemes of Recruitments and these difficulties are yet to be resolved. Therefore, the proposal made by Hon. M.H.A. Haleem, the Minister of Posts, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs, to appoint a Committee comprising of the representatives of the Ministries of Public Administration and Management, Finance and Mass Media, Posts, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs and the National Salaries and Cadres Commission headed by a Senior Official named by the Secretary to the Prime Minister, to examine the possibility of preparing a Service Minute unique to the Postal Department comprising of Schemes of Recruitment for each Grade which could be easily implemented and make recommendations in that regard, was approved by the Cabinet.
