Annual Report 2016 of the Ministry of Finance

- In accordance with section 13 of the Fiscal Management (Responsibility) Act, No.03 of 2003 the Minister of Finance and Mass Media is required to release the 'Final Budgetary Position Report' at the end of the financial year to Parliament and to the Public.

Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance and Mass Media to table the said Report in Parliament, prepared inclusive of the information regarding the relevant Government Fiscal Activity, containing thirteen (13) Chapters, the Government Financial Statement and the Auditor General's Report on such Statement, was approved by the Cabinet.
