Lease of the land at Muthurajawela in extent of 2 Acres - 0 Rood - 11 Perches to the Dart Global Logistics (Pvt.) Ltd.

- The Sri Lanka Land Reclamation and Development Corporation has developed approximately 400 acres of land in Muthurajawela using sea sand and given it over for various investment projects and state sector projects. Three blocks of land in Muthurajawela have already been given over for logistics related activities and applications have been called for another two blocks of land to be given over for similar projects.

Accordingly, 30 applications have been received from interested parties and the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to lease the block of land in extent of 2 Acres - 0 Rood - 11 Perches on a 30 year lease to the Dart Global Logistics (Pvt.) Ltd. the highest bidder for the land, subject to the relevant conditions, was approved by the Cabinet.
