Establishment of the Sri Lanka Environmental Wellness Ayurveda Village and the Research Centre

- With the underlying concept of establishing a treatment village and a research and educational centre of International and National Standards making use of the Ayurvedic Medical Systems, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine to establish a Sri Lanka Environmental Wellness Ayurveda Village and a Research Centre at the Meddewatta area of the Mathugama Divisional Secretary's Division in the Kalutara District where it is considered as suitable to be constructed and to implement the project under Public Private Partnership basis, was approved by the Cabinet.
