Reformulated 'National Policy on Sanitation'

- The National Policy on Sanitation was submitted to the Cabinet earlier and for the implementation of same more effectively, the policy has been reformulated incorporating the observations of the relevant stakeholders interested in the matter, the experts in the field as well as the Ministers of Finance; Megapolis and Western Development; and Education and also taking into consideration the observations of the National Steering Committee appointed to improve the content. The policy so reformulated and submitted to the Cabinet by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply, was approved by the Cabinet.
