Purchasing of an additional bulk of 150 MT of dates from Sathosa to be distributed among the persons of the Islamic faith during the Ramalan season

- Although, 150 MT of dates have been received as a donation from the Government of Saudi Arabia for the persons of the Islamic faith to be used during the Ramalan season, it has been assessed that the quantity will not be sufficient for the consumption such persons during the period. As such, the proposal made by Hon. M.H.A. Haleem, the Minister of Posts, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs for Sathosa to purchase a stock of 150 MT of dates in addition to the stock of donation received presently and distribute same among the persons of the Islamic faith under the supervision of the Ministry of Posts, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs, was approved by the Cabinet.
