Hosting of the next conference of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) in Sri Lanka in the year 2019

- The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education has been established with the collaboration of over 200 organizations actively engaged in the task. A biennial conference is held to discuss the more productive programmes undertaken by the members with a view to sharing the best practices adopted by such members. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to host the next conference of the network in Sri Lanka in the year 2019 where around 1000 local and international stakeholders are due to participate, was approved by the Cabinet.
