The Second Indian Ocean Conference - IOC 2017

- The Indian Ocean Conference - (IOC2017) is being organized by the India Foundation with its partners comprising of the Institute of Policy Studies, Sri Lanka; Institute of International and Strategic Studies, Bangladesh and S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Singapore, to be held in Colombo from 31st August to 2nd September, 2017. At this conference, attention will be focused on the security, economic, cultural and environmental matters of the zone where eminent leaders and distinguished delegates of over 30 countries are due to participate Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs, to convene the conference in Colombo with the sponsorship of the India Foundation, was approved by the Cabinet.
