Restoration of the damages caused to the Tea and Rubber planted lands in the Kegalle District due to torrential rains

- Damages were caused to a large number of tea and rubber planted lands in the Kegalle District due to the torrential rains that fell in the two days of 2016-05-16 and 17. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Navin Dissanayake, the Minister of Plantation Industries, to restore such tea and rubber planted lands to a state where re‑plantation could be done, was approved by the Cabinet.
